Candice Hunter CorbyPrincipal, Chief Executive Officer, & President
Candice Hunter Corby is an incredible leader, heading our extraordinary team of legal experts and technologists who help corporate legal departments and law firms manage their information management needs consistently and cost-effectively. Candice provides strategic direction to global operations and manages all aspects of operations at Cobra. Under her leadership, the company has pioneered their technology services solution, CobraPulse™, an interactive dashboard that provides real-time performance metrics on all aspects of delivery. CobraPulse™ enables higher levels of productivity and client satisfaction.
Corby was named among the Top 10 Female CEOs of 2016 by dotCEO. She was the finalist in the 2015 Profiles in Power – Women of Influence in Central Texas. She is a motivational speaker and mentor who has been interviewed by the Harvard Business School Executive MBA program on "How Key Women Succeed". She has also moderated the panel discussions at The University of Texas McCombs Executive MBA Program on "Championing Women in the Workplace".
Corby was one of the panel members for the Four Seasons Hotel – Austin's program on "Women in Leadership." She has been featured regularly in numerous media outlets including: Dallas Morning News, Fort Worth Star Telegram, Dailycandy.com, India Express, West Publications, KTVT 11, Ellevate Network, dotCEO, Austin Business Journal and Profile Magazine.
Corby is a champion for various social causes including eradicating homelessness, women’s initiatives, diversity, arts and health. She is a board member of Zach Theatre, Austin Opera, University of Texas at Austin, Butler School of Music Directors' Council and was Co-Chair of the "I Am Waters Supermodel Luncheon" (hydrating the homeless).
Candice received her Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Arkansas at Little Rock and is a certified public accountant. She in an avid runner, completing her first full marathon in Austin on February 14, 2016. She also enjoys travel, skiing, wine & cheese, and spending time with her family.
Sakthivel VenkatramanManaging Director – India Operations
Sakthivel manages day-to-day operations and support services of Cobra in India. Prior to working at Cobra, he was the Director of the Legal and Transaction processing unit of OfficeTiger, a large professional outsourcing company in India. Sakthivel was a key member in this department since its inception to growing into a 500-member team in four years. He has also worked at NIIT and Tata Consultancy services.
Operations management, client engagement, implementation of service deliverables, creation and oversight of quality control processes and corporate sales account management are some of his areas of expertise. He serves on the Board of Directors for Rising Star Outreach of India. Sakthivel is a science graduate from the University of Madras, and holds a master’s degree in business administration and business law from NLSIU. He is a certified black belt in 6 sigma and lean management system. He is recognized and certified by the Forum of Free Enterprise (FFE) and Confederation of Indian Industry (CII). Sakthivel is an avid speaker at various outsourcing conferences and prestigious universities, including Bharathidasan Institute of Management (BIM) and JSN School of Management.
Mahesh KrishnanGlobal Director – Operations
Mahesh Krishnan is responsible for the continuous improvement of Cobra’s operational processes. He is a key member of the project planning and execution wing, playing a critical role in the delivery of client projects. Mahesh has over twelve years of experience in the outsourcing industry, including extensive experience in business process management – primarily in the fields of paralegal operations and transaction processing for litigation claims (including securities litigation cases and mass tort/consumer litigation).
Mahesh has also worked in project management and business improvement, business development, pre-sales, and customer satisfaction indexes. He is certified in Business Continuity Management (BS25999 standards) and has worked on Six Sigma quality standards. His employment track record includes RR Donnelley Global Business Process Outsourcing, IBM Global Services India, and TATA Info Media. Mahesh holds a master’s degree in business administration from Symbiosis Institute and a degree in commerce from the Bharathiyar University.
Lee HolcombCOO & Director of legal Services
Lee Holcomb is the COO & Director of legal Services of Cobra Legal Solutions. She has been associated with Cobra since 2010, when she started working with the team in Chennai, India. Lee is a Certified eDiscovery Specialist, and is a member of The Sedona Conference Working Group 1, and The Tennessee Bar Association.
Providing every client with highly cost effective and competitive solutions has been the focus of Lee’s work. She provides case and client-specific advice about eDiscovery methods and best practices on a case-by-case basis. Her expertise in eDiscovery LPO industry assists clients in developing strategies for efficient and effective, review and production, and implementing cost-shifting and cost reduction strategies throughout the eDiscovery process.
Lee has devoted a substantial amount of time working with the Cobra attorneys based in Chennai. Prior to joining Cobra Legal Solutions, she was a Member with the law firm of Leitner, Williams, Dooley & Napolitan PLLC in the Knoxville, Tennessee office. During this tenure, she focused on civil litigation and insurance defense. Working as a litigator for over a decade, she has handled various types of cases including workers' compensation, motor vehicle accidents, personal injury, and death cases. Apart from litigation, Lee has defended cases at trial and during appellate arguments. She has also worked on mass tort litigation including document production for diet drug litigation and has represented a large government contractor in cases involving multiple exposure claims. Lee graduated from Rhodes College in Memphis, Tennessee and has a J.D. degree from the University of Memphis.
Thandapani RamachandranChief Technology Officer
Thandapani is responsible for maintaining Cobra’s IT infrastructure and data security. His scope of work encompasses planning, organizing, staff management, maintenance and support of network, server, data communications and telecommunication systems. His areas of expertise include implementation, analysis, optimization, troubleshooting, and documentation of LAN/WAN network systems. He is a Cisco and Microsoft certified professional. Thandapani has nearly four years of experience as a project coordinator at RR Donnelley Global Business Process Outsourcing (in India), which includes one year of onsite tenure. He holds a bachelor’s degree in Electronics and Communications Engineering from the University of Madras.
